Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about Simply Store service.

What is the minimum I can store?

You can store any item or quantity of items as we price based on the volume of the item.

What is the maximum I can store?

We will provide rates to store any item, size or volume.

I don’t see an image of what I want to store, does that mean you don’t store it?

Images are indicative of our prices based on the volume. We will consider any item size, or volume of items.

How do I calculate the cost?

You can type in your volume on our price page or just send an email to info@simplystore.com we will come back to you with a quotation.

Free Collection and Free Delivery – always?

We include one free collection of your items and one free delivery to the area we collected from.

Can I have delivery other than where my stuff was collected from?

Sure, we deliver to anywhere in the UK or you can use our international service for delivery -well anywhere. Additional costs will apply.

I don’t want 12 weeks storage, can I reduce the storage time?

12 weeks is our minimum storage time. but you can have your effects delivered as soon as you want.

Can I return an item to store after I use it?

Sure, if you have an item delivered and you want to store it again there will be a new contract for storage.

How long is the storage contract?

Our contract includes collection storage and re-delivery . The minimum term is 12 weeks. After 12 weeks we charge by the week quarterly in advance.

If my effects are delivered through the second quarter of billing will I get a refund on what I don’t use?

Absolutely. After the initial 12 week period we charge by the week so if you come out mid-way we will refund the difference.

Do you collect form any floor in my house?

We provide a collection vehicle and working driver who will load your effects from your door and deliver to your door.

Can you collect form any room in my house?

Yes we can include a removal service at an additional cost.

Can you pack my stuff?

Yes we can offer a full packing and removal service at additional cost.

I want to pack my stuff, do you supply packing materials?

We can either bring packing materials on the collection day or send them out in advance at an additional cost.

What things can I and cannot store?

Considered “inherently dangerous,” these include gasoline, compressed gas, propane tanks, kerosene, lamp and motor oil, acid, grease, corrosives, fertilizer, paint, cleaners, chemicals, narcotics, or hazardous, toxic or biological waste. Asbestos or products containing asbestos are not allowed. You also cannot store fireworks, explosives, weapons or ammunition.

Perishable Food and Animal Products
Canned foods can be stored, but perishable food products such as cereals, fresh produce or meats are not allowed. These may spoil or attract pests.
Miscellaneous Prohibited Items
Any animals or plants - alive or dead - cannot be stored. Nor can any stolen items.
